Creating an alert
Go to Alerts → New Alert and choose an endpoint, a rule type, a threshold and a window. The shortest window is 5 minutes. Start with a loose threshold, such as a 10% error rate, and tighten it once you have seen your normal traffic.
Tip
An alert that fires all day gets ignored. If one keeps firing, raise its threshold or lengthen its window.
Review thresholds when your traffic changes.
